The Value of A True Friend

Today would have been another typical week day of work from 8am to 6pm, except for a a guy i came across on the net.

I had fun discussing with him and during the course of our discussion, i understood the value of real frienship.

Friends actually can help you remain focused or just divert your focus to something entirely different from your attention from your goals and objectives in life depending on who you decide to associate with or get close to.

Sometimes in our lives we may be going down the wrong road and just at the nick of a time a friend just calls your attention to what you are doing wrong, and that can really help from us from doing something that could be detrimental to our life.

Friends are always the ones we run to whenever we are in trouble, whenever we need a shoulder to cry on or just somebody to listen to our thoughts even when they dont make sense.

Some friends can be as close as a family(sister or brother), they are the ones that remember your birthdays, the ones you hang out with, the first people you call when you are happy and still the first people you call when you are down.

They are people you can trust with your with your inner most secrets and your deepest fears.
You share jokes with them, you laugh together and even cry together, you lean on each other and draw strength from each other.

I just cant imagine how this world will be without such people. I bet it will be a very boring and lonely place without such people as friends in our lives.

Suffice to say then that friends are meant to be appreciated and not taken for granted.
You can always appreciate your friend with a text message, card, taking him/her on a suprise outing, buying gifts for them and most importantly having a listening ear no matter how senseless what they have to say might be.

I have friends that have actually helped me to shape my orientation and values, cannot but appreciate them on this page
